Born from 25 Years of Bedside Compassion
Solaceheart Angels is founded by Marie Haffner Akuffo, who brings vast experience to home care. She worked in the medical field as a bedside nurse for over 25 years in various settings with different age groups from pediatric to geriatric, caring for patients with diverse medical and health issues.
Marie realized that many clients go in and out of hospitals and nursing home settings due to missing or absent family, friends, and loved ones. As a result, these clients have difficulty coping, healing, and experience anxiety issues.
With this in mind, she created her agency to take care of clients in the comfort of their home, surrounded by their family in a familiar environment filled with comfort and happy memories. This approach helps clients heal faster, prevents falls, and reduces anxiety issues due to the presence of familiar faces and surroundings.
